The Role
As the Systems Administrator, based out of Chennai, you will be responsible for managing software applications, enabling access for new hires, and ensuring that all employees have the tools and permissions needed for their roles. You will focus on user management, onboarding and offboarding, and software support, ensuring our teams work efficiently while adhering to security standards. Your role will be crucial in maintaining software functionality, security, and user experience as the organization scales.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage user access and permissions across all organizational software systems (e.g., Salesforce, Slack, Google Workspace, project management tools, etc.)
Handle onboarding processes related to software setup for new employees, ensuring timely access to necessary applications
Maintain a catalog of software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements
Troubleshoot software issues, providing timely support to employees across different departments
Monitor the health and security of software systems, ensuring patches and updates are applied as needed
Collaborate with department heads to ensure software tools are meeting team needs, and recommend new tools or enhancements
Document processes and maintain user guides for internal tools
Decommission access for departing employees and ensure data is secure
Assist with the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new software as the organization grows
Support additional projects and tasks in line with startup culture, including process improvements and team support

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience managing enterprise software and user access
Familiarity with SaaS platforms, cloud services, and user administration
Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, and other common business software
Knowledge of software license management and compliance
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes
Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
Previous experience in a startup environment is a plus
